Arusha Tour Itinerary
Your driver-guide will pick you up early from your hotel and brief you about the day’s adventure. Enjoy a scenic drive through Maasai villages and open plains as you head toward Tarangire.
Mid-Morning (10:00 AM – Enter Tarangire National Park)
Arrive at Tarangire and begin your game drive. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, massive baobab trees, and seasonal swamps. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and over 400 bird species.
Lunch (12:30 PM – Picnic inside the park)
Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic sites, often with a stunning view of the Tarangire River – a magnet for wildlife, especially during the dry season.
Afternoon (01:30 PM – Continue Game Drive)
Explore further into the park’s varied landscapes. Tarangire’s rolling hills and river valleys offer excellent opportunities to spot predators, as well as unique species like the fringe-eared oryx and gerenuk.
Evening (04:00 PM – Depart the Park)
After a memorable day of safari, exit the park and drive back to Arusha/Moshi, arriving in the evening.
